The View From Tall, the first feature film from Teleporter Productions

The View From Tall is the film debut of Erica Weiss and Caitlin Parrish with their company Teleporter Productions. Written by Caitlin Parrish, based on her play, and co-directed by Parrish and Erica Weiss, this independent twist on a coming-of-age story stars Chicago's own Amanda Drinkall and Michael Patrick Thornton. In addition to featuring all local talent and hiring Chicago film professionals, the project is an impressive shift in the gender paradigm behind the camera. Of the crew of 30, 17 are women, including six of the eight major department heads, and the entire producing team is female.
